Hello friends!
It has been a hot minute since I updated my blog. I got home back to California a few months ago, and it has been a whirlwind of busy-ness with job hunting and getting my life together. But I digress. I want to share my moments in Busan with you all ^_^
DAY 1
After taking the bus to Busan from Daejeon, the first thing we did is to grab food of course. It was my first time EVER getting bossam (pictured above) and it was delicious. The fatty pork with the white kimchi tucked into fresh lettuce with some tangy sauce made the entire trip worth it already. After eating our fair share of bossam, we explored the city!
The first place we came across was a coffee museum! Although I am not a coffee person, I appreciate the cute cups and the process of creating coffee. After looking at antique coffee grinders and machines, we continued to explore the city until night fell.

We visited Busan on a weekend that had fireworks! The crowds were insane. The streets were filled with people pouring into the traffic. Subways were backed and the bathrooms with lines out the door. As we walked towards the bridge, people sat on the streets and it was nearly impossible to move. However, as we managed to sit our butts down on the sand and watch the fireworks while eating cold fried chicken.

The fireworks, to me, were the same as any other country, but this picture, in particular, is my favorite because of this cute couple that I do not know.
After the fireworks, we went back to our AirBnB and called it a night.

Day 2
The next day we made our way to the ocean! The ocean is a must when visiting Busan and it truly does not disappoint.

After staring at the ocean for an hour and taking lots of pictures, we rushed to grab some food. One of my friends knew a place where they served cheap, but delicious sushi. I forgot what the place was called, but it was near a university. Places near universities are cheaper because of the students! It was a really great steal for ~ $10 USD for all the sushi pictured below, one tempura, and a bowl of udon. 😛

Soon after we finished, we made our way back to the airbnb to pack up and go back to Daejeon!
