I realized after a few posts that I never explained what exactly KAUST was. In this post, I will explain what KAUST is and how I stumbled upon the awesome institution.
What is KAUST?
King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a university located in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. Unlike many universities in the states, this university is only for Master’s and PhD’s students.
As mentioned in the name of the university, its focus is on science and technology, offering degrees and research opportunities in marine biology, environmental science, genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics, just to name a few.
The university holds many international students from China, America, Germany, Columbia, and so much more. Although English is the universal on campus, you can hear people speak their native languages.
